Let's LousART february 2013

Let's LousART was a big succes!
It was snowing outside, but we had a lot of fun inside with all those creative people and products.

 

Etsy lab in Bruges

Yesterday there was an Etsy lab in Bruges.
The whole day was about 'how to be a creative entrepreneur'.
We learned a lot about networking, social media and ofcourse we got some quick tips & tricks from Etsy itself.

Festival of Creativity

Last weekend I helped as a volunteer on the Etsy booth at the Festival of Creativity in Turnhout, near Antwerp.

 

 

I had a very nice day and I hope many people will take a look at the Etsy website.

In Belgium Etsy isn't very famous yet.

Swishing Middelkerke

Last weekend I was invited by Swishing to sell my jewelry on their event in Middelkerke.
It was a nice experience and I'm sure I'll do it again.
Maybe next time in Gent? Who knows...

Sing for the climate 2012

Today we went to 'Sing for the climate' in the middle of Brugge (Bruges) at the Astridpark.
 

 

 

Small business in a big world

Today I would love to share a very interesting event that takes place at the end of October.
Small Business In A Big World by Hello Etsy, is a daylong gathering for small business owners who want to connect with their peers, learn new skills, and be part of the movement to build a better world. Etsy shop owners, speakers and other interested people from all over Europe will come to this event.

Music for life 2011 - I do give a shit!

I love to follow the 'Music for life' by StuBru. The campaign of this year supports children who suffer from diarrhea, which is probably the biggest cause of death from children all over the world. Every year StuBru has an amazing campaign with lots of good music and activities to help them collect money for charity. The hosts stay in a house of glass for a couple of weeks. This year the house moves from town to town and everyday there is lots of good music on the roof or in the studio.

These are my favorites until today:

Brussels Travel Expo

Today and friday i'm going to help on BTE (Brussels Travel Expo).
As a student tourism I this chance to help on this event.
I'm very curious about what's going to happen, what I'm going to do there, who I'm going to meet...

Rommelmarkt Dudzele - Flea market Dudzele

Bedankt aan iedereen die gisteren is langsgekomen aan ons tafeltje.
Samen met mijn nichtje stond ik in Dudzele om onze zelfgemaakte hobbywerkjes te tonen en te verkopen.

Thanks to everyone who came by yesterday at our table.
Together with my cousin, I was in Dudzele to show and sell our homemade/selfmade work.

We hadden zelfs een leuke mascotte, maar daar vertel ik verder in dit berichtje over.

We even had a funny mascot, but later on in this message i'll tell more about him.

New Month -> New Stuff!

Ik vind het telkens zo leuk om mijn spulletjes op mooie kaartjes te prikken en er daarna foto's van te nemen.

It's so much fun everytime i prick my new stuff on lovely cards and take some photos afterwards.

Rommelmarkt Roeselare

Vandaag ging ik samen met mijn vriend op de rommelmarkt staan te Roeselare.
Toen wij om 6u opstonden, was het zooo hard aan het regenen.

We hebben dan maar beslist om niet te gaan.
Jammer, want ik had enkele hele toffe spulletjes klaarliggen om te verkopen.

Op 7 augustus ben ik paraat in Dudzele.
Hopelijk zonder regen.

Rommelmarkt Koolkerke

Wat was het gisteren een fijne dag!
Mijn allereerste keer dat ik alleen (zonder de mama) op een rommelmarkt heb gestaan.
We (mijn vriend en ik) moesten vroeg uit de veren om al om 7u klaar paraat te staan te Koolkerke.
Jammer genoeg, bleef het volk wat weg door de Malle Malefeesten en de braderie in de winkelstraten van Brugge.
Toch kwamen er 's middags meer en meer mensen waardoor er toch wat leven in de brouwerij kwam.

Bedankt aan iedereen die iets heeft gekocht, heeft rondgeneusd, heeft gepast en complimentjes heeft gegeven.
